The Wound is a Portal is a short documentary on multidisciplinary artist, Gesiye Souza-Okpofabri, who uses Afro-diasporic healing modalities to address generational trauma and weave a mythology of land and personhood. Eight Black Trinidadians were invited to participate in a series of tattoos and conversations about connection to the island. The documentary is part of the national collection at the National Museum of Wales.
